Biscane Colada

Non-Alcoholic Pina Colada

Few things say summer more than a pina colada. It’s a sweet and creamy treat straight from San Juan, Puerto Rico. The drink has a humble beginning in the Caribe Hilton in 1954, where bartender Ramón “Monchito” Marrero mixed the ingredients on a whim and created the most iconic cocktail of the summer. He continued to make the drink on his own for decades before Monchito’s creation was declared the official drink of the island.

Fast forward to the modern day, and people across the world are enjoying this blended delight. July 10th was even dubbed National Pina Colada Day! The drink has a place in songs and on the shores of beaches, but you can really make it anywhere to enjoy some blended sunshine in a glass.

But maybe you want your sunshine without the hangover. With Seir Hill’s Biscane™, that’s absolutely doable. Our non-alcoholic rum alternative is made for mixed drinks, providing that well-known sweetness without the intoxication. Biscane™ allows you to live that five o’clock lifestyle all day long without the aftereffects!

Ingredients for Pina Colada Mocktail:

  • 1 ounce coconut cream
  • 1 ounce heavy cream
  • 6 ounces fresh pineapple juice
  • ½ cup crushed ice
  • 2 ounces Biscane™

How to Make a Virgin Biscane Pina Colada

To make a non-alcoholic pina colada is as simple as taking all your ingredients and blending until smooth. The recipe serves one 12-ounce glass, and once poured, you can garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry.

Variations on the Non-Alcoholic Pina Colada

For a drink as old and beloved as the pina colada, there are plenty of variations ranging from subtle to subversive. If you want to stay close to the original, try replacing some of the ice in your pina colada mocktail with frozen pineapples. This is a perfect move for those aiming to amp up the fruity flavor.

You can also play with adding other fruits to your non-alcoholic pina colada. Maybe pour in an ounce of fresh mango juice, or add bananas or chopped strawberries. Since a virgin pina colada is essentially a non-boozy smoothie, you can treat it as such and pair the pineapple with whatever fruits you like the most. And if you don’t have a blender, you can still get the same tropical effect by mixing the ingredients and pouring it over a glass of crushed ice.

However you mix it, you can enjoy your pina colada mocktail morning, noon, or night with Biscane by Sier Hill. Our rum alternative is gluten as well as alcohol-free, with only one gram of sugar per serving. It has all the warmth you could possibly want in a spirit without any of the hangover.

We can all use a chance to unwind, and a tropical vacation doesn’t need to involve a passport and a packed bag. The right drink can bring all the peace of the beach right to your door, so mix a drink with Seir Hill’s Biscane™ and take a trip without leaving your home.
