    Mashville Whiskey Alt

    After trying several non alcohol bourbon/whisky alternatives, this is my favorite. It works really great in cocktails where the base is bourbon, rye, whiskey...I don't expect these to ever replicate that real alcohol flavor/bite, so at this point it was determining which one worked great as a mixer for mocktails. I'm not a fan of the spiciness of some of the others- this is more smooth and doesn't overpower whatever else you want to add to it. It's definitely not great neat- none of them are. Maybe a splash of seltzer and bitters - but you're never going to get the bite of alcohol in na beverages... It's also great for making reduced alcohol content drinks- 1/2 this, 1/2 real thing. Good choices when you're trying to reduce alcohol intake for health reasons.
